just an observation
so, i'm reading through c.s. lewis' the chronicles of narnia. (author's note: not to be confused with his less popular, the chronicles of riddick.)
anyway, i can't help but notice the subtle, yet strong, christian overtones in these books. i mean aslan may as well be christ himself.
has anyone else ever noticed this?

I think you're reading into it wayyyyyyyy to much...
next thing I know you'll be comparing the entire "Magician's Nephew" to the creation story because they both have apples in gardens... come on...
i don't know man. it just seems too similar. there has to be some kind of agenda going on there.
What are you guys talking about? Narnia has nothing to do with Christianity, everyone knows that's Harry Potter. For example, in The Magician's Nephew, the whole world is corrupted because of one woman, like that would ever happen in the Bible. Pshaw!
that's right... harry potter is an obvious Christ figure... I think you have your novels screwed up... hermione is obviously mary magdaline and they will have children in book 7 which means the DaVinci Code is also Biblical...
C.S. Lewis is a rather prominent Christian. I was quite young when I read the books, but I remember there was definitely a Christian influence. Also, Lewis wrote quite a bit on the subject of Christianity, so it is likely that would come through in his books.
