a thanksgiving wish

because i love fletch so much, AND because i can't seem to talk my self out of a challenge, AND if i'm going down, i'm taking a lot of people with me, AND because i'm going to be gone for a bit and wanted to leave with something good, AND because i can...

i give you:

time machine presents: a recreation of the catching of the first thanksgiving turkey.

as told by a group of college students circa november 1995. that's right, 10 years ago.

the cast (in order of speaking appearance)

-cade
-just dave
-fletch
-an indian named joel
-an indian named andy
-muffin

with special guest appearance by:
-bobo the manchild

ENJOY IT HERE

(note: though it's a small video (3:48), it still takes a bit of time to load so be patient)

(note #2: it is in WMV form. if you do not have windows media player i suggest you find a machine that does. it's 1 in the morning and i am tired and not making another version.)

(note #3: the sound sucks. so, the likelihood of you having to turn your speakers way up is pretty good.)

happy thanksgiving.

The overarching lesson, as always...never, ever allow yourself to be videotaped because IT WILL end up on the internet eventually

wish I had the gong show tape...

Three things:
*Did you ever find the Under the Sea tape? (not meaning to pour lemon juice on any old paper cuts)

*Who has my 'Bread of Life' video?

*That's awesome, Cade. Thanks for bringing me back.

Oh, PS: Cade, if this is gonna run you too much bandwidth, let me know and I can mirror it for you.

Thanks Cade.
That was priceless.
You would never have guessed we watched Monty Python, would you?

muffin-

by far my favorite character ever. i almost included the dick vitale-style "let's get that turkey, baby!!" but i didn't.
dp-

the original "under the sea" performance has been erased for eternity. i believe it is some sort of daytime soap now.

refresh me on the 'bread of life' video. i don't think i have that one.

dave-
i still hold that those pilgrims were historically accurate. i don't care what anyone says.

if we ever get to a point technologically, where humans can download remembered videos from their brain...the first one I'm downloading is the gong show

man, watching that video gives me a strange craving for a swisher sweet

Very nice, I forgot about that one...just think what bobo could have accomplished if he put acting as his top priority. Do you think we should forward this to Andy's U.S. employers (former?), I'm sure they would love the P.C. depiction. Talk to you later. Kroeker
