the time: roughly 9:15pm, halloween night 2005
the place: the gazebo in beverly common. beverly, massachusetts
the spectacle: two people, one of a medium adult age and indeterminate gender, dressed as a pumpkin; the other, a child-sized person also of indeterminate gender, (costume unintelligible), slow dancing with no music, fully illuminated by the gazebo's orange lights.
and...scene.

sorry bout that, my girlfriend and i (she was the tall one, the perspective was weird do to the distance) were listening to the same song on our ipods... and dancing to it
I;m guessing the movie was Dirty Dancing.
As seen in Salem this evening: One Duct Tape Man costume, One Strongbad, 3 Tetris pieces, a bunch of varying whore-type outfits and 3 giant walking Penises.
aw, James, all I got was the woman dressed in a cat outfit sitting in my doc's waiting room...
Somehow I find that sort of beautiful and touching.
You know, with all the girls tarted up in the outfits and all the guys dressed as penii, eventually someone higher up is going to cancel everything, thanks to a couple of idiots.
i guess it could be beautiful and touching if the exact circumstances were known. as it were, to me, it looked like an adult and a kid slow dancing in a private moment, very much in public.
given the lack of background info...i have to say creepy..
