Are you sure they are protesting the treatment of the flight attendants or just Jodie Foster?
here's the thing, if people insist on making movies about terrorism, someone has to be the terrorist. And since we can't put anyone in those roles that might further a racial, ethnic or religious stereotype, all we're left with is what they came up with, airline employees doubling as terrorists...
I say good for Disney for exposing this potential form of airline infiltration.
I'm still not going to go see this movie because I only pay money to take in entertainment that makes me feel good. I do just fine on my own imagining the horrors mankind is capable of.
if you think that's bad, how about the group protesting the Pink Visitor's Locker room at Iowa? They Claim that it discriminates against Women and Homosexuals..
Or Martha Burk protesting the new NHL ad campaign because there are scantily clad women..
Or a group of white people voting to make the North Dakota Fighting Sioux have to change their mascot because it is offensive to Sioux Indians...
These people need better things to do with their time
Has anyone bothered to tell the airline attendants that this is a MOVIE? And that to protest this movie just makes airline attendants look more like the stereotype of blond idiots who just wave their arms around and hand you dirty blankets and bags of peanuts.
