rick ocasek said it best...

..."let the good times roll."

i got home from my 2 days of work at mohegan sun (i won't post about the fact that i should ban myself from all casinos, but i could) to see the first of my boxes of inventory (thanks art!) waiting for me in the living room.

what a joy to open the box and see this:

what a feeling!

let the fun begin, right?

in this little lot we have more than 70 vinyl LPs.

there's the good, the bad and the ugly.

the brilliant, the simply unforgivable and the just plain disturbing.

i won't do this for every shipment. but i had to this time.

thanks.

i love me some REO too, but that cover is disastrous.

i'll see what kind of updates i come up with for future shipments. but, i promise there will never be a streisand/kristofferson CD cover, so it might not be that fun.

but we'll see.

may my brain possess or gain the defense mechanism to forever erase or supress the memory of the "disturbing" album - maybe i'll have to bring it up in my counseling session on tuesday

Is the disturbing one really Kris Kristopherson, as in the guy who played "Whistler" in the "Blade" movies? The guy who played Patrick Swayze's best friend in "Roadhouse?" If it is...oh, I need to go floss my brain..
