a reason to celebrate

just a little something that makes me smile.

for the first time since 2003, the kansas city royals AREN'T in last place in the AL central. even better? the current last place team is none other than the chicago white sox.

it may not be a pennant...but it's an accomplishment i will take.

Go Royals! and we're only 15 games out of the Wild Card as well with 39 games left! I think we can do, and boy is the kool aid good here! oh and congrats on the engagement.

I'm starting to believe there is an inverse relationship between the amount of time I watch Royals baseball and their success.

Is there some common thread between this post and your new YouTube link to 'Planet Unicorn (Heyy)'? I sure hope not...

i've been back here less than a week and I'm already tired of Paul Splitorff as a tv announcer...

he keeps calling it 'The K' what's The K you ask? It's Kauffman Stadium...or just just Kauffman, not THE Kauffman or THE Kauffman Stadium...it's not 'The A' it's Arrowhead...seriously...WTF???

The humidity is getting to me...

They've called it 'The K' ever since they changed the name. It'll always be Royals Stadium to me...

AMEN dones...I'm going out to Royals stadium before this season is over...I'm hoping to catch a caffiene high and start seeing the old familiar faces...Willie Wilson in center, Frank White at second, Willie Aikens at first, John Wathan behind the plate and mr. mvp #5 patrolling third base

was it really 22 years ago??? *sigh*
