Thankfully, your predicament is a product of your location. I seriously had someone ask me today who was in the Super Bowl. Because away from the east coast, not a ton of people care. It's basketball season anyway, right?
btw, does ANYONE in the ACC play defense?
it's mostly been ESPN that has been guilty of the hype i'm talking about. (local news is ALWAYS crazy, so there is no surprise there). east coast bias. sure, but if you watch anything on there...you can't hide from it.

Has ESPN ever downplayed the Super Bowl? Isn't the hype the entire reason for having two weeks between the AFC/NFC championships and the Super Bowl?
I find myself not caring this year simply because of who's in it. Not for regional purposes, but because the Giants are gonna get squashed like bugs.
Don't get me wrong, a Giants victory would rock my world, partially because they'd be pulling off one of the biggest Super Bowl upsets ever, but mainly because I've been an Eli Manning fan since he was drafted. But it ain't gonna happen, folks. And it makes me very sad that it won't be a game at all.
I sometimes forget that stuff is actually happening as I'm fastforwarding the TiVo through everything else to get to college basketball. My bad.

And let me tell you this week just got worse in terms of the coverage....sooooooooo much worse.
by the way, what city is home to the chefs franchise?

i've only heard stories about grainy footage of kc super bowl appearances
no freaking spell check...
who's in the super bowl? or shall we say who cares who's in the super bowl? The chiefs took back seat to KU and MU this year when it came to football, so who knows where the chiefs were playing this year. Not in Kansas City!
