Yes, but if you won all the time then you'd be those conceited fans everyone hates...and that victory that does one day inevitably awaits won't be nearly as sweet...

don't give up hope KU fans!

Okay, I'm recovering, although it hurts, I wouldn't trade KU for any other team.

The real tragedy is that football and basketball seasons are basically over and we are entering the neverending, TV program waisting, "hey lets play every day, so no game really matters" season that is Baseball. Sorry Cade, I know you love Baseball.

disclamer: Baseball can be enjoyable if and only if you are at the game, otherwise I'm sticking to the comments above. Later.

james- i have xavier losing in the first round.

becky- everyone DOES hate us. that's just the way it is and we don't have the multi-championships to back it up. and that sucks.

my opinion on the first round. yeah, ku lost. yeah, it was the second first-round exit in two years. that sucks royally. but think of this: EVERYONE (with the exception of pitt and maybe a couple of other teams) struggled in the first round. we drew the short straw and lost to a very good (and ridiculously fast) bradley team. carolina, illinois, texas, even uconn all could have lost and they weren't the only ones. this lose did not crush me other than my pride for having not won a tourny game since 2004. in an odd season like this, making it too the tournament was the goal in my mind. winning the big xii tourney was the icing. we weren't gonna win the big dance, so whatever. the embarrasment doesn't compare to last year and we will be a #1 seed next year.

the parity in college basketball is increasing and that means tough games for teams like kansas. i don't mind so much.

bri- baseball is great. deal with it.

thoughts on vegas coming soon.
