well, i tried...
after more than a couple of days trying to hold a stable connection AND upload a proper where in the world is cade? photograph, i have given up. i don't know why it won't go and this "hello-blogger" thing has to be the stupidest program ever created. so, there are no smart-assy pics to rub in the fact that the weather here is perfect and my hotel room overlooks the bay.
alas. maybe next time.
oh, and incindentally, from the home-ec department: cellular telephones are NOT machine washable.

Hello is a pain in the bum. I 100%agree. Remember my post on Boston w/ all the pics? I lost hours of my life that day.
I'm not sure what to say about the cellphone...sorry.
"oh, and incindentally, from the home-ec department: cellular telephones are NOT machine washable."
as resident cell-phone loser, breaker, and unwilling encourager of cell-phone theft, I could have told you that...
Someday cell phones will be able to get washed. Techies are already working on washable, foldable keyboards-they are cloth with the wiring embedded in the cloth.
Other things one should never throw in the washing machine: licenses (the old ones that were paper sealed in lamination paper), cough drops, gum and pens.
Just thought I'd mention... the phone I got (after losing my last one in Peru) close to the start of March now looks like it's had about 5 years of wear and tear, not 4 months of it...
I can never justify buying an expensive phone again...
yeah, the worst part is that in the frenzy of buying a phone AFTER the sprint store opened and BEFORE my flight left on sunday, i ended up with a camera phone.
i've become what i hate.
Cade and Art: I have the solution to your cellphone problems. It is called the cellphone purse. Guaranteed to make keeping your cellphone safe from dings, although maybe not laundry machines. My personal cellphone purse comes in a lovely orange stripey design.
