i haven't heard it yet...but i'm gonna guess that Jessica Simpsons version of Patty Griffin's Let Him Fly should never have been made.

I heard that Limp Bizcut did my all time favorite song EVER: "Behind Blue Eyes" by the Who.
I have yet to hear it.
But the fact they did it makes me mad.
It's the worst ever.
can't be as bad as their abismal cover of george micheal's "faith."
*shudder*
didn't some college alt/rock punk/grunge band do a cover of under the sea? what were they called? Split Miniskirt?
Mike...isn't that the band with the good-looking bass player? Man, it sucks I never got to see them in concert, but they never made it up to Kirksville when I was in school.
Madonna covered Don Maclean's classic "American Pie." I really wish that she hadn't.
B stole mine.

it IS a bummer you missed them and yes i have heard that the ladies find him vexing.
i have heard a rummor that they may reunite for a show in october in boston.
Dang, "faith" has already been mentioned...so has "american pie"...
I would say Billy Joel singing "Shameless", but he sang (and wrote) it before Garth Brooks did...
Okay, how about Alice Cooper's version of "Because" for the "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" movie. George Burns' "Fixing a Hole" in that movie was pretty bad, too. (I happen to like several of the other covers from that movie, though...)
And Fiona Apple's cover of "Across the Universe", for another Beatles tune done wrong.
big ol' disagreement about apple's "universe."
i thought it was great.
and this is my blog, so i win.
