well, this has been a busy couple of days.
-our recently installed/more recently broken shower is fixed (thanks moen!) and the bathroom is back to 100% operational and 0% annoying.
-today, we got our furniture delivered. the sofa and love seat were the wrong color, but it's been so long since we ordered them that neither of us realized it. bernie and phyll's called later this afternoon to inquire about the mix up (apparently, our real set was still sitting in the warehouse, we were still unaware) and we decided that we would just keep the ones that were delivered.
-more things have gone to the attic.
-fewer things are in the office.
-three months after moving in to the house...it's finally starting to resemble something of a home.

dude what happened to the shower?
a couple of days ago, we suddenly couldn't turn it off. it would go to a trickle and that was as far off as it would get.
i called moen and they said it sounded like something got in the water line and either dinged the o-ring or got stuck in the cylinder.
they sent me a new cylinder and the instructions on how to fix it.
so, now i know how to do that.
we had just gotten the closet completely full and we had to take out the access panel. we had to completely turn the cold water off at the shut off after each shower to keep it from running.
it was fun.
oh man that sucks. that happens a lot at the springs with their really old pipes. way to go now you are a plumber
yeah, there was a piece of solder wedged in the cold valve.
awesome. that happens sometimes. i got called back to a house i worked on 3 years ago for something like that.
sorry.
I like what I see here. I noticed you are a Ben Folds fan. Me too. I just wrote a piece about Ben Folds and the Australian bogans. I've got some live video footage I'm pretty sure you will dig.
Matt
